Statistics for Won Cases against Environmentalists Rises

The maritime practice team of Law Firm “ANK” won another case against the Environmental Inspectorate, which in July 2019, as a result of illegal control of the isolated ballast of the ship, forced a Greek ship owner to pay an unprecedented amount of 1,510,295.88 UAH (58,378.32 USD) in order to obtain permission to leave the port.

Now the unreasonably received funds are subject to be returned to the foreign company from the state budget.

We welcome the fair decision of the Odessa District Administrative Court, which is an excellent addition to the already established court practice on similar disputes.
