Maritime Chamber of Ukraine has summed up 2021

Please be informed that last week the Maritime Chamber of Ukraine (MCU), which Law Firm “ANK” has the privilege to support, summarized its work for the year and agreed the plans for 2022 during the general meeting of the MCU members.

In 2021, MCU was involved in over a dozen initiatives with a consolidated position, as well as authored two standard-setting projects:

– The Maritime Administration’s Uniform Act of Audit (as amended to replace the current one) and

– Amendments to the Merchant Shipping Code to recognise guarantees of mutual insurance clubs (P&I clubs) as sufficient security for maritime claims (subject to the financial soundness of the clubs).
