ANK Lawyers Shared Expertise at a Maritime Law Conference

On May 23, 2025, attorneys Artem Volkov and Kostiantyn Moriakov had the privilege of being invited as speakers at the conference “Current Issues of Maritime Law: Today`s Realities”, hosted by the Ukrainian Maritime Arbitration Commission at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UMAC) in Odesa.

Their presentation focused on legal challenges of ship arrests in Ukraine, sharing practical experience and revealing systemic procedural abuse in maritime disputes, including the high-profile MEGA D case.

Conferences like this — bringing together judges, arbitrators, and legal practitioners — play a key role in shaping legal practice and advancing maritime law development in Ukraine.
